It’s time to create a new vision
The title of this blog may have led you to ask yourself a question or two.
‘I haven’t got a vision, do I need one?’
‘I’ve got a clear vision, why should I look to do another?
Maybe it’s triggered another question other than these.
Having a vision is key to success as it provides us with clarity. Gaining a clear picture of where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you want to be is to create your life’s roadmap.
Like any other map, you need to know your current location as well as your destination before you can plan the ultimate route.
Along the route you may find that you have to adapt to change, and find a new path. That’s ok, so long as you don’t step away from your mission.
Your mission
This mission includes your goals, values, and brand identity. It’s key to remain true to your beliefs, to be your 100% authentic self.
But to make sure that these new or different paths lead you to success you’ll need to create a new vision:
It should position you in the right direction.
It should help you to navigate your way to your desired destination.
It should be based on what you believe in, and what motivates and excites you.
If should provide focus on what you are good at and what inspires you to do what you want with your future.
It should limit your feelings of overwhelm and moments spent procrastinating.
Spending time planning and identifying your new vision will really pay off now and in the long run.
